Japanese ambassador opens school in Guba

Japan's ambassador to Azerbaijan Masamitsu Oki has inaugurated a school in Guba, whose reconstruction was funded by the Japanese government. The secondary school No. 1 in Nugadi village was completely overhauled as part of the Japanese government`s “Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Program”.

The total cost of the project amounts to $96,802. Local officials, including Guba Governor Rauf Habibov attended the opening ceremony of the school, the Japanese government`s 64th project in Azerbaijan. Japan`s government has so far invested $ 4,855,530 in educational projects in the country.
