
Armenian commando that crossed the contact line into Azerbaijan on Sept. 11 in northwesterly direction, attempted to blow up the school in Azerbaijan, said Manvel Mamikonovich Sarybekyan, detained by Azerbaijan’s special forces while trying to pass into to the territory controlled by the Azerbaijani army.
“Samvel asked whether I had enough courage to kill the Turks. I replied “yes.” "After that we met often, and one day he took me to a house in the woods in a car. There were 7 to 8 young people in the house. We trained there for two months. We were taught to shoot, use grenades and demolition. Later the four of us were sent to the so-called Shemseddin forest. There was a Turkic village in the vicinity. We were tasked to blow up a school in the Zamanly village and return,” he said.
On September 11 at about 17:00 local time, one of the four Armenian commandos was detained in the north-western direction of the contact line. Commando Manvel Sarybekyan was equipped with special intelligence equipment. It was revealed during the preliminary interrogation that the commando, which included Sarybekyan, planned to commit sabotage at the order of special services of Armenia.
