Baku to host National Conference on Tobacco Control

National Conference on Tobacco Control will be held in Baku today. Parliamentarians, representatives of the ministries of health, youth and sports of Azerbaijan, World Health Organization (WHO) and nongovernmental organizations will attend the conference, according to Azerbaijan Health Communication Association.

The event aims to draw public attention to problems related to smoking and search for a solution. According to Azerbaijan Health Communication Association poll, 97% of men and 89% of women in the country believe that smoking is harmful to human health.
