International conference on technical and physical problems of power engineering held in Tabriz

An international conference on “Technical and Physical Problems of Power Engineering” has been held in Tabriz, Iran. The event, devoted to the 100th jubilee of academician Chingiz Cuvarlı, brought together scientists from Spain, Turkey, Iran and Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan`s delegation was led by first Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences Arif Hashimov who delivered a report on energy trends in the 21st century. The next conference will be held in Baku in 2013.
