Man kills his wife and attempts to kill himself in Azerbaijan

A man killed his wife and then attempted to suicide. Resident of Khatai district of Baku Alihasan Abdullayev, 51 knifed his wife Almaz Abdullayeva, 45 to death and then attempted to open a vein, district prosecutor’s office told APA. He was hospitalized.

According to the preliminary reports, the incident took place because of family disputes. The prosecutor’s office of the Khatai district launched criminal investigation.
