Azerbaijan, Bulgaria sign memorandum to cooperate in field of property

The Azerbaijani State Committee on Property Issues and the Bulgarian Privatization and Post-Privatization Control Agency signed a memorandum of cooperation, the state committee reported on Thursday. Privatization Agency Director Emil Karanikolov arrived in Baku with a five-day visit on Sept.22.

State Committee Chairman Karam Hasanov said the committee attaches great importance to international relations and finds it necessary to use international experience to improve the activities.

The privatization process realized in the country is a mean of economic recovery. He said the main tasks of the state committee are to improve the state property management, accelerate the privatization process and improve its efficiency, restore privatized enterprises and their development, open new jobs and etc.

Karanikolov spoke about economic reform and privatization processes carried out in Bulgaria. The sides held talks on the scope of information exchange between agencies, cooperation and organization of mutual visits.
