
More than 255 kilograms of expired food products has been destroyed by the State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development during regular monitoring of the consumer market, the ministry said.
Inspections were conducted in the Khatai, Nizami, Sabail districts of Baku, as well as in the Shamkir, Guba regions. Expired sausages, pastry, butter, milk and dairy products, flour products, canned foods, soft drinks, fruit juices, beer, baby food, flour and spices were confiscated. Administrative measures will be applied against physical and legal entities found violating consumers' rights.
