The strong wind, which began to blow in Ujar region from 20.00 yesterday, caused serious damage to the region.

The winds broke down the roof of the building in Dede Gorgud street, in the center of the region. 12 families are reportedly living in the building. Strong wind also broke down the roofs of the buildings in the Ujar Interregional Supply Base.
First deputy head of Ujar region Executive Power, chairman of the Emergency Situations Commission Abil Mehdiyev told APA that the electricity had been cut off in the region. The wind turned over the electric posts, the trees fell on the electric cables. Efforts are being made to eliminate the problem. No casualties are reported. Strong wind was also observed in Goychay region. According to Goychay Emergency Situations Commission, there were no destructions.
