Azerbaijan, Japan: Grass roots human security grant agreements signed

In the frame of the Grass Roots Human Security Grants Program, financed by the Japan government, a ceremony of signing of seven agreements was held in Baku on September 29.

The $643.590 thousand worth program includes construction of a kindergarten in Ismayilli region, improvement of water supply in the same region, construction of a school in Kurdemir region, the overhaul of medical emergency in Goychay region, improvement of water supply system in Fizuli region, construction works in Gazakh and Sheki regions.

The Program already turns ten years, the Japanese ambassador to Azerbaijan Masamitsu Oki said. According to him, the Program will be expanded in the coming years.
