Fire-breathing animal discovered in Azerbaijani Lankaran region

A medieval monument was discovered in southern Azerbaijan. According to Vesti.az, the monument depicts a fire-breathing animal with a crown on its head. The monument was reportedly found in the Kosalar village of Lankaran region.

The monument weights about 70 kg. It should be noted that the area, where the monument was found, is surrounded by a brick fense, which proves the presence of an ancient settlement here.

The experts attributed the found monument to the early Middle Ages. It was put into the local historical museum.
