Starting from September of current year classes on NGN (New Generation Network - NGN) will be conducted for fourth year students in computer engineering department at Caucasus University.

During the lessons, organized on the initiative and direct participation of Azerbaijan's mobile operator Azercell Telecom, listeners will receive necessary knowledge on new generation of communications technologies.
Classes are conducted for 4 hours a week by company's specialists. In accordance with the program, two hours a week are dedicated to theoretical knowledge, while the rest is intended for students' self-study.
During the lectures, students are taught such areas as switching systems, Base Station Systems, basis of GPRS and UMTS, and are informed in detail about the various systems of transmission, operations and supports, the concepts of evaluation and additional services.
With this initiative, Azercell Telecom wants to focus university knowledge with the students' knowledge in the field of NGN technologies and improve their knowledge and skills.
