
A working group consisting of representatives of Azerbaijani Postal Administration will pay a working visit to Tehran on October 5-7. The visit, which will be realized at the invitation of Iranian Postal Administration, aims to hold meetings with the working group of Iran's Post and discuss cooperation between the two countries in postal sphere.
It should be reminded that first meeting of the working group between the two countries took place in Baku on December 21, 2009.
At that time issues such as transportation of international mail in transit from Baku to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and on the opposite direction passing through the territory of Iran, issuance of joint postage stamp dedicated to the theme of ecology of the Caspian Sea, transit postal sendings, exchange of electronic remittances as well as exchange of experience among experts of the given sphere.
However, the above-mentioned issues have not been fully solved yet. The issues will be reconsidered at the next meeting.
