
It is expected the revision of custom import tariffs applied to several food products for protection of agrarian sector in Azerbaijan from te influence of foreign markets, according to Azerbaijan's draft state budget for 2011.
At the same time the seasonal customs duties is planned to be applied in the country. According to Rafig Majidov, head of the, Department of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Agriculture, changing of customs import tariffs will be concerned to grain, flour and rice products. Seasonal customs duties will be concerned to potato, vegetable and grain plants.
At the same time the extending of activities of leasing organizations and establishment of new organizations will be supported for improvement of material and technical maintenance of agriculture.
Besides, establishment and development of financial credit institutions for meeting the need of entrepreneurs for financial resources and improvement of related legislation for stimulation of insurance in this sphere are planned.
