Number of persons avoiding the alimony increases in Azerbaijan

The number of persons avoiding the alimony increases in Azerbaijan. 32.3% of the court decisions make alimony requirements. Khanlar Zeynalov, chief of Justice Ministry’s Department of Execution of Court says that 21 708 documents on alimony requirement were under execution in 2008, 25 563 in 2009, 25 057 in first half of 2010. According to him the execution of such resolutions depend on court’s decision.

The sanctions against the persons avoiding the alimonies were made strictly.
