Uzeyir Hajibayli's 125th anniversary marked in Berlin

The 125th anniversary of outstanding Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibayli has been marked in Berlin with a solemn event co-organized by the Azerbaijan Culture Center and Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis in Germany.

Speakers at the event highlighted creative activity of Hajibeyli, who laid the foundations of classic music in Azerbaijan. The event featured the demonstration of a short film about the composer.
