Russian President awards Azerbaijani rescuers

The rescuers and firemen, who helped combat forest fires in the Moscow region this summer, were honored with state award on behalf of the President of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

The award ceremony took place at the Georgievskiy (St. Georgiy) Hall of the Moscow Kremlin. Employees of the Azerbaijan ministry of emergencies, who have contributed to the rescue operations in Moscow region, were among 46 recipients of the award.
