Netherlands suspend sales of food produced in Karabakh

Netherlands suspended sales of food, produced at Azerbaijan's occupied town of Khankendi, called "Stepanakert" by Armenians, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported with reference to the embassy in the Netherlands.

Benelux Azerbaijanis Congress conducted investigations in a number of stores "Blin" in the Netherlands and found products produced by "Artsahfrut". The distributor is "Hayfood" company. Besides Armenia, Azerbaijan's occupied town of Khankendi, called "Stepanakert" by Armenians, was indicated as the place of production on the website of "Artsahfrut" company.

The Netherlands suspended sales of the product as a result of actions conducted by the Congress. The Embassy informed the Foreign Ministry of Netherlands about this, a statement said.
