Azerbaijani pilgrim Intigam Rustamov, who was killed in the explosion in Iraq, has been buried in Nardaran today.

The funerals were held in Imam Huseyn square in Nardaran settlement. Following the janaza (funeral) namaz, Intigam Rustamov was buried in the cemetery in the yard of Rahima khanym mosque.
The persons, who went for pilgrimage with him, residents of the village, Baku and surrounding settlements attended the funeral.
The incident happened in Diyala province densely-populated by Kurds at 10.00 on October 13. Azerbaijani pilgrim Intigam Rustamov was killed, Elvin Aslanov, Abdullayev Elchin Tahir and Abdullayev Elchin Vahid were wounded. Elvin Aslanov was taken to Baghdad and operated. There were 54 pilgrims in the delegation from Azerbaijan. 50 of them continued pilgrimage.
Rustamov’s body was brought to Azerbaijan on October 18.
