Passengers to pay for hand luggage in Baku Metro

Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers has approved the rules for using the Baku Metro on Oct.19, the cabinet reported. The decision was made to improve the quality of using the subway and passenger safety.

According to APA-ECONOMICS passengers owning luggage making the length, width and height 121-200 cm and only length 151-220 cm must pay a fare. According to rules the number of luggage must not be more than 2. Besides, the passengers using the metro free also have to pay fare for luggage.

Fare is not paid for children until 7 years old. Passengers dont have to pay for little carts, limited sledges, children’s bicycles, fishing-rods, musical instruments and small garden equipments.
