Divorce cases on rise in Azerbaijan

The divorce cases exceed the marriages registered in January-September 2010 in Azerbaijan.
State Statistical Committee says 53,000 marriages and 6,500 divorce cases have been registered in the country since the beginning of the year.

The number of marriages has decreased from 8.1 per 1,000 persons to 7.9. Number of divorce cases rose from 0.9 to 1 per 1,000.
