Azerbaijani Parliament adopted a draft of the 2011-state budget with 104 votes "for" and 5 "against" at a meeting today.

Revenues of the 2011- state budget will increase by 4.8% compared to 2010 to 12.061 billion manat (30% of GDP) and expenditure by 3.9% to 12.748 billion manat (31.7% of GDP). Deficit of Azerbaijan's 2011-state budget is projected at 687 million manat or 1.7% of GDP.
Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said that after discussions the state public assignments for the Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture to purchase medicines were increased by 500,000 manat, and expenses for strengthening the Parliament's material and technical basis were raised by 440,000 manat.
