A number of tremors occurred south-east of Astara region of Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea in the territory of Iran today.

The earthquake measuring 4.60 occurred 33 km south-east of Astara region of Azerbaijan at 08:20 local time. The earthquake epicentrum was in the Caspian Sea at a depth of 28 km.
The earthquake measuring 4.50 occurred 54 km south-east of Astara region at 8:34 local time. The earthquake epicentrum was in the Caspian Sea at a depth of 23 km. The earthquake measuring 4.20 occurred 55 km south-east of Astara region at 09:18 local time. The earthquake epicentrum was in the Caspian Sea at a depth of 22 km.
The tremors were not felt, the Republican Seismological Service of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences said. There are no victims or destructions.
