International Data Center opens in Baku

The International Data Center has opened in Baku on the eve of the 7 November parliamentary elections. Head of the center Elnur Baimov has emphasized that the world community keeps a close eye on the election process in Azerbaijan.

“We maintain close ties with international media structures and to that end we have founded the International Data Center to promote the coverage of the election process.

The center is aimed at providing foreign media with information about forthcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan,” Baimov said.

To date, journalists from 20 countries have gone through the accreditation procedure. The registration of foreign press is underway.
