Turkish police raped Azerbaijani woman in Istanbul

We often cite Turkish media reports about the security forces conducting raids in the entertainment business as a result of which foreign prostitutes are detained. Usually there are many Azerbaijani citizens among them. Today Turkish daily Akşam spread news, which has direct relevance to Azerbaijan. Despite the fact that the raid was conducted on October 13, the media found out about it only today.

Few members of the police department responsible for compliance with moral norms of Istanbul police raided an entertainment facility located in Avcilar district of Istanbul to check documents of its visitors. After a personal inspection, officers detained 11 people and forcibly took them to their van and drove away to an unknown destination.

According to Turkish newspaper, the police received a bribe of a thousand lire from the owner of the facility and began to release the girls. All of them were released from the vehicle at various streets, and only Azerbaijani citizen stayed in. 32-year-old A.S thought that she was being taken to the police to deport her from the country.

But they took 32-year-old Azerbaijani woman to the wood and raped her. Not content with this, the officers continued their depraved acts with the unfortunate victim the next morning. The woman who escaped the police and other victims of police abuse pleaded with the police.  

Upon the order of prosecution, four criminals in the uniforms were arrested. Investigation is underway.
