Mass food poisoning at a wedding party in Azerbaijan

On October 27, residents of Khudat city of northern Khachmaz region of Azerbaijan appealed to the city hospital after the wedding at the local restaurant. Doctors revealed that the residents had food poisoning, the Khudat Region Police Office said.

According to early reports, more than 30 people appealed to the hospital. Causes of poisoning have not yet been identified yet. The law-enforcement agency is investigating the fact.

The Khudat regional ambulance station said 31 people have been hospitalized with food poisoning. Most of them returned home after the first aid. The health statuses of others are out of danger. Reportedly, the wedding guests got poisoned with salad.
