Azerbaijan to switch to winter time this night

Azerbaijan will switch to winter time at night from October 30 to October 31. The clocks will be set an hour back at 5 am on Oct. 31, according to the Cabinet of Ministers.

As usual, Azerbaijan switches to winter and summer times under the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers. As many as 110 countries have begun to set clocks one hour back since 1981. Experts say energy is consumed for one hour less in this way.
