A 77 YEAR OLD WOMAN RAPED IN AZERBAIJANI REGION?

Yesterday, Dashkesan region police department received an emergency from Emirvar village resident Shola Aliyeva (b. 1933), who lives in Dashkesan. A 77 year old woman claimed she was beaten down and raped. According to the police, the incident took place on 28th of October.

"When she was in the forest, she was assaulted by some young man, who punched her with a stone on the back, and then according to Aliyeva, raped her", said source in the department.

An investigation based on Aliyeva's complaint has been launched. Forensic examination of the results is also necessary, to decide whether a launching of a criminal case is needed. Police department also said, that the woman is reportedly mentally unstable.
