CMO acts to bring back the body of Azerbaijani pilgrim

The work is underway to deliver the body of the Azerbaijani pilgrim, who died on his way to Mecca, to home, Caucasus Muslim Organization (CMO) Spokesman Rahima Dadashova said.

Azerbaijani citizen Khanbala Atakishiyev's health state sharply deteriorated in the Syrian city of Sham on Saturday. Though he received the first aid, it was impossible to save his life.

"The CMO has already contacted with the Azerbaijani embassy in Syria in connection with sending Atakishiyev's body home," Dadashova said.
