Baku hosts seminar on culture and architecture in modern Azerbaijan

Opening the seminar, the chief of the organization Sardar Yusifoglu highlighted the importance of the seminar. He noted that the aim of the seminar is to educate the youth about culture of architecture and town planning and the history of ancient buildings in Azerbaijan.

The president of Azerbaijan Cultural Association “Simurg” pr. Fuad Mammadov briefed on the important role of the cities and historical architectural monuments in formation and development of culture in the society. He stressed the particular importance of the architecture in the town planning.

Shamil Fatullayev-Figarov, an academician of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, doctorate in architecture pointed out the history of Azerbaijan`s architecture. Fatullayev-Figarov was elected honorary member of Azerbaijan Cultural Association “Simurg”.
