Murder occured in Azerbaijan, during the parliamentary elections

Yesterday, in Binagadi district of Baku, a murder took place. A 39 year old Arzu Iskenderov stabbed his relative, a 32 year old Rashad Aliyev to death. According to the police of Binagadi district, the reason for the kill, was the money problem.

"A native of Kurdamir region Arzu Isgandarov recently sold his house and planned to spend the money at his own discretion. Isgandarov’s relative Rashad Aliyev asked him to lend him money as soon as he learned about it. Isgandarov’s wife lent money to Rashad, without her husband knowing. Yesterday the head of the family needed money and he found out that the money has been lent to Rashad Aliyev,” a police source said.

Iskenderov met with Aliyev and ordered to repay the debt immediately. The dispute between them was accompanied by mutual insults. Arzu Iskenderov inflicted several stab wounds to Aliyev which who turned out to be fatal," a source in the police office noted.

Iskenderov has been detained. A criminal case has been filed into deliberate murder.
