President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates school complex in Baku - PHOTOS

On November 9, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva attended an opening ceremony of a school complex here built at the initiative and with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva cut a ribbon and toured the building.

Education Minister Misir Mardanov told the President that construction of the school began in January 2009. The building was constructed to modern standards.

The four-storey building has 26 classrooms, 3 labs, library, 2 computer rooms, assembly hall, canteen, gym, swimming pool and other facilities. It is the first secondary school where debate rooms have been opened.

President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse visited classrooms, library, canteen and gym. The Head of State expressed satisfaction with the work done here.
