
A special document has been prepared in Azerbaijan in connection with introducing additional education on innovation, developing and improving the quality of education, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The document envisages getting additional education after secondary and high education, the Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov said at a press conference on this issue.
"Each of us needs to receive additional education for whole life in one or another degree," Mardanov said.
The document, whose main goal is to improve the professional skills of teachers, is distributed among teachers for review.
The Minister also noted that today the issue of training of the Azerbaijani colleges and universities' teachers remains a problem. He noted that in this regard, Azerbaijan intends to use international experience, including the CIS countries' experience in getting additional education.
