International Association of Theater Critics to open representation in Azerbaijan

“I wondered at the Azerbaijan’s “Leyli and Majnun” opera. I can’t say anything critically about this opera because if the critics make comments on any spectacle they have to research it, to see other operas and then compare all of those spectacles”, secretary of the International Association of Theater Critics, Canadian theater critic Michel Vais said.

Vais attended the 1st International Theater Festival in Baku. The expert said their association was established 55 years ago and had its representations in many countries.

The Canadian critic highly appreciated the international conference in Azerbaijan and said that liked Baku very much despite visited it for the first time. Vais said that didn’t have detailed information about the Azerbaijani theater and further would collect interesting and detailed information about that.
