Addersing the event, Rector of the university Temurchin Efendiyev said the aim of the event is to introduce students of the University with traditional Japanese culture through exhibition of Japanese dolls, calligraphy, origami and other exhibits.
Japanese ambassador to Azerbaijan Shusuke Watanabe said that before coming to Azerbaijan, he imagined it as a country of oil and gas only.
