European Court judges meet Azerbaijani counterparts

Visiting judges of the European Court of Human Rights, David Thor Borgvinson (Iceland), Joseph Casadevall (Andorra), Anne Power (Ireland) and Khanlar Hajiyev (Azerbaijan) met with newly appointed judges.

The judges who are here to attend a conference marking the 15th anniversary of the Azerbaijan's national Constitution gave necessary recommendations to Azerbaijani peers.

The judges also met with Chairman of the Supreme Court Ramiz Rzayev to discuss case law applied by the European Court, improvement of courts` workings and other issues.
