Secondary school teacher commits suicide in Azerbaijan

A secondary school teacher committed suicide in Khazar district of Baku Wednesday morning, the district prosecutor's office said.

The incident took place in Mardakan village of the district. Resident of the village Sadagat Gafarova, 51, committed suicide drowning herself in the basin in her farm. No one was there to save her and the woman died at site because the basin was so deep.

Gafarova was working as a teacher in one of the local secondary schools. Reasons of the suicide are not known. The fact is under investigation.
