Baku to host international conference on NGO financing

An international conference entitled “Development of civil society and financing of non-governmental organizations by state: experience and new opportunities” will be held here next week.

Representatives of NGOs from 18 countries and international organizations are expected to attend the conference organized by the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The conference will be supported by USAID's (United States Agency for International Development) civil society project, Counterpart International Organization, Open Society Institute - Assistance Foundation and International Center of Non-Commercial Rights.
