German embassy holds charity event in Baku

Cakes, pies and various sweets, cooked by volunteers specifically for this event were put on sale at the Christmas bazaar. The bazaar visitors were able to enjoy freshly prepared German frankfurters, sausages, hot waffles and sweet mulled wine, purchase various Christmas gifts and books in German. Children's choir has pleased many Bazar visitors with excellent performance of Christmas songs.

Wife of German ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mrs. Corrina Quelle said all proceeds from Christmas bazaars are used to support various charity programs for orphans. Employee of the embassy Mrs. Eybish Greig on behalf of the embassy and orphaned children thanked the sponsors, volunteers and all visitors of the Christmas Bazaar.
