
The Delegation of the European Union will conduct 4 information sessions for civil society organizations in the context of two Calls for Proposals for actions launched earlier this month with a combined allocation of circa AZN 2 million.
The information sessions will be conducted in :
Lankaran at 11.00am on 23/11 in Lenk. Business Education Centre (30 Gala Khiyabani St.);
Guba at 13.00 on 25/11 in Nizami Cinema Club (52 Yusif Gasimov St.);
Baku at 10.00am on 26/11 in Rotunda Hall (Landmark, 90A Nizami St.)
Ganja at 10.30am on 26/11 in Delux Hotel (42 N.Narimanov Ave.)
The Delegation of the European Union is currently seeking proposals for actions to place in the Republic of Azerbaijan and to be financially supported by the 2010 European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) and Non-State Actors in Development (NSA) programmes.
The Calls are aimed at supporting promotion of civil, political, social, economic and cultural rights and assisting civil society efforts to promote environmental awareness and rights to clean environment as well as promotion of civil society organizations advocacy efforts towards local and national government in implementing sustainable development strategies.
