Azerbaijan identifies priority areas for developing Naftalan

The Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry's National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support (NFES) has announced a contest on investment projects to finance priority areas in Naftalan.

During an event in Naftalan as part of a state program to support entrepreneurship in the regions, talks were held with the local authorities and entrepreneurs on the efficient use of the city's economic capacity. The talks identified the following economic development priorities:

- Creation of industrial areas for growing vegetables ripening in greenhouse conditions;

- Creation of spa companies meeting international standards.


The fund is open for offers from business entities via authorized credit organizations from Nov. 23.
