NATO International School in Azerbaijan to hold winter session in Baku

The NATO’s latest Strategic Concept will be discussed by young researchers, experts, diplomats and NATO experts during the session entitled “NATO’s new strategic concept: challenges and prospects”.

The session will cover NATO’s strategic concepts adopted since 1949 – during the cold war and post-cold war period, main principles of reviewing the strategy, NATO’s goals and nuclear issues, defense and military measures, security challenges, untraditional threats, security challenges in Euro-Atlantic space, collective defense, crisis management, energy security, situation in Afghanistan and other issues.
