Azerbaijan, Spain to sign memorandum on sports cooperation

Azerbaijan and Spain will sign a memorandum on cooperation in the sphere of sports. Signing the document is expected during the Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov's meeting with his Spanish counterpart Jaime Lissavetzky during the Azerbaijani minister's visit to Spain, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports said today.

After the visit to Spain, Azad Rahimov will leave for Germany to attend the First World Congress of Azerbaijani Youth in Frankfurt. Azerbaijani Minister will also attend the opening of the Department of "History of Azerbaijan" at the Humboldt University in Berlin.

Frankfurt will host the First World Congress of Azerbaijani Youth Nov.27-28, 2010. The forum will discuss strengthening youth's role in expanding the Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations' activity.
