Azerbaijan may facilitate visa regime for the Iranian businessmen and students, Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mahammadbagir Bahrami said at the press conference, APA reports.

The ambassador said discussions are being made on the issue. Mentioning that Iran cancelled visa regime for Azerbaijanis this year, Bahrami said earlier Azerbaijanis were permitted to stay in Iran without visa for 15 days, now this period has been extended to 1 month.

Ambassador expressed his wish that Azerbaijan will also cancel visa regime for Iranians.
“We understand that the Azerbaijani government is considering this issue. We hope Azerbaijan will also cancel the visa regime,” he said.
