Glass dome constructed on the top of Maiden Tower in Baku

A glass dome has been installed on the observation platform of Maiden Tower at the order by Icheri Sheher State Historical and Architectural Agency.

Reportedly, the invisible glass cover with a height 1.4 m installed along the edges of the platform poses no harm to appearance of the historic monument and does not create any obstacles to visitors wishing to see a panorama of the city.

Reportedly, the glass is resistant to changeable weather conditions. It has been installed to ensure safety of visitors of the monument which has a height of 28 m.
