Azerbaijan declares five non-working days due to the New Year and the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis.

According to the Azerbaijani laws, December 31, 2010-January 4, 2011 are declared non-working days, a message said.
He said that according to the law, December 31 is declared a non-working day as it is the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis, January 1-2 the New Year holidays.
Since Jan. 1-2 fall on weekend, then Jan. 3-4 will be non-working days in Azerbaijan. The Cabinet of Ministers will make this decision by late December.
According to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic dated December 30, 2005, "Amending the Labor Code", if the holidays fall on weekends, they are automatically transferred to the next working days.
