Baku TCPA to install new ADSL ports and commission over 3 thousand new numbers

Baku Telephone Communications Production Association (BTCPA) of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan plans to put into operation new communications facilities in Baku on the occasion of 6 December - professional holiday of workers of communications and information technologies sphere.

The number of ADSL ports in a number of automatic telephone exchanges (ATE) of the city will be increased in order to provide broadband Internet services. Thus, 144 new ports will be installed in ATE 440/441, 192- in ATE 493/498/598, 512- in ATE 561/562/563, 192- in ATE 566/567/514, 192- in ATE 459, 24 ports in ATE 453.

In addition, ATEs with 1400 numbers and 1650 will be put into service located at 88 S.Vurgun Street and 75A S.Vurgun Street respectively.

Besides that, as part of holiday activities BTCPA will put in commission new ATE with 256 numbers in Bina Shopping Center and two units 32-port user sealing equipment.
