Man sets himself on fire in Absheron

A suicide has been committed in Gobu settlement in Absheron region of Azerbaijan, the region’s prosecutor’s office said. 36-year-old Natiq Ismayilov doused himself with gasoline and set on fire. Despite timely hospitalization, doctors failed to save his life.

The region’s prosecutor’s office is identifying causes of the self-immolation. Ismayilov was employed as oilman at “Oil Rocks.” A criminal case has been filed over the article 125 (driving to suicide).
