World-famous Azerbaijani jazzman to be commemorated in Baku

World-famous Azerbaijani jazzman Vagif Mustafazade will be commemorated in an event to be held at a museum house of the musician in Baku.

Artistic director of the evening is Rena Talibova, soloist of the female ensemble "Sevil", once created by Mustafazade.

The event will also see performance of an ensemble of "Retro-Sevil" which consists of six soloists.

Mustafazade’s house-museum has been completely renovated by cultural and charitable foundation. It contains 153 photos, movies, videos, certificates and photo albums.

Vagif Mustafazade was born in Baku on March 16, 1940 and died in Tashkent during a tour on December 16, 1979.
