Japanese ambassador meets Rector of Baku State University

Japanese ambassador to Azerbaijan Shusuke Watanabe visited the Baku State University on Tuesday where he met with rector Abel Maharramov.

Maharramov briefed the diplomat on the university, saying 61 students are pursuing baccalaureate and 9 master's program at the Japanese language and literature department. Watanabe, for his part, expressed hope that the number of Azerbaijani students studying in Japan would rise.
