Assault in Azerbaijan: 2 unidentified persons invade the house, seize $80,000

Two houses were attacked in Azerbaijan, Interior Ministry said. One of the incidents happened in Tovuz region.

Two unidentified persons broke into the house of Latifa Mammadova, beat, threatened her and seized AZN 1,400. Then they escaped, after tying up her arms and feet. Criminal case has been launched on the fact.

Another robbery was committed in Binagadi district of Baku. Two unidentified persons jumped over the fence of the house owned by Firdovsi Gubadov, threatened his wife Shafiga Aslanova and his son Tamkin and seized $80,000.

Initial search operations are underway.
